Introduction

\n

When you transfer accounts using the \"Transfer Tool,\" you must ensure that the \"Reseller Privileges\" option is selected. By default, reseller permissions are not transferred to prevent the movement of resellers with overly permissive permissions in place for security reasons.

Procedure

    \n
  1. Log into WHM on the destination server as the ‘root’ user.
    2. \n
  2. Navigate to \"Home / Transfers / Transfer Tool.\"
    3. \n
  3. Enter the source server's IP address in the \"Remote Server Address\" textbox.
    4. \n
  4. Enter the source server's SSH port in the \"Remote SSH Port\" textbox.
    5. \n
  5. Select the needed authentication options in the \"Authentication\" section.
    6. \n
  6. In the \"Security\" section, ensure that the \"Restricted Restore\" option is not selected.
    7. \n
  7. Click the \"Scan Remote Server\" button.
    8. \n
  8. Read the notification about the \"Live Transfer\" option and click the \"I Understand. Proceed To The Account List.\" button.
    9. \n
  9. Select the user and to transfer.
    10. \n
  10. Click the arrow button in the \"Domain\" column for the user.
    11. \n
  11. In the \"What to Transfer\" box, select the \"Reseller Privileges\" option.
    12. \n
  12. Under \"THIS ACCOUNT,\" click the \"Apply\" link.
    13. \n
  13. Click the \"Copy\" button to initiate the transfer.
    14. \n
