How to Disable MailScanner

Introduction

cPanel support may request that ConfigServer's MailScanner be disabled. This article provides the procedure to do so. 

Procedure

1. Log into WHM as the ‘root’ user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Plugins / ConfigServer MailScanner Front-End."
3. Click the "MailScanner Disable" button in the "MailScanner Configuration" section.
   Please note that any emails waiting in the MailScanner pending queue will not be processed until MailScanner is re-enabled.
