Why is the ImunifyAV/ImunifyAV+/Imunify360 scan taking a long time to run?

There is a "Settings" menu in ImunifyAV/ImunifyAV+/Imunify360 where two options can be limited:
CPU Consumption
I/O Consumption
Setting these options to "Low" will lower the scanning speed to prevent overusing server resources.
