How to upgrade from ImunifyAV to Imunify360

Introduction

This guide explains how to upgrade from ImunifyAV or ImunifyAV+ to Imunify360 after purchasing a license through the cPanel store.

Procedure

ImunifyAV can be replaced by Imunify360 automatically by using the Imunify360 installation script. It will recognize that ImunifyAV is installed and prompt you before proceeding.

wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/i360deploy.sh

bash i360deploy.sh

Example output:

You are about to uninstall ImunifyAV and install Imunify360 that includes Malware Scanner. To get ImunifyAV back run the following commands:
# yum remove 'imunify360-firewall*'
# wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/av-deploy.sh
# bash ./av-deploy.sh
Do you want to Do you agree to proceed with uninstalling ImunifyAV? (y/n) ?

At this point, press 'y' and submit for the process to proceed.
