In most situations, providing an example message for cPanel support to examine will greatly increase the speed in which we are able to investigate and resolve an issue for you. Even if the problem is happening to all messages on the server, providing the following information upfront will help.
The following list is the most basic set of information required to positively identify a message. Please provide at least the following information for one example message:
- Sender's email address
- Recipient's email address
- Date and time that the message was sent
- Subject of the message
In some situations, providing the full headers for an example message may be required in order to investigate and resolve an issue, although it would not hurt to provide the full headers of an example message in all cases.
