How do I access the terminal within a cPanel account?

Answer

This feature is not enabled for all users by default. If your account has access:

1. Log into cPanel.
2. Navigate to "cPanel / Advanced / Terminal."
3. If this is your first time accessing this interface, you will be prompted to accept a warning notice.
4. Click "I understand and want to proceed" to access the terminal application.
5. Run the desired command(s).

Access to this feature depends upon having the SSH Access & Terminal feature enabled in Feature List that applies to the account in question. It also requires that Jail Shell or Normal Shell be enabled for the account in the Manage Shell Access page of WHM.
