How do I access the terminal within a cPanel account?
Answer
Access to this feature depends upon having the SSH Access & Terminal feature enabled in Feature List that applies to the account in question. It also requires that Jail Shell or Normal Shell be enabled for the account in the Manage Shell Access page of WHM.
You can access this feature in the cPanel account by going to:
Advanced >> Terminal
If this is the first time attempting to access the terminal, you will be prompted with a warning notice. Before you are allowed to access the terminal application, you must accept the warning notice. Click ‘I understand and want to proceed’ to access the terminal application.
