How long will cPanel support my operating system?
Answer
We will notify you of operating system EOL dates as they approach. We deliver notifications in cPanel & WHM through normal update procedures, and through product documentation that is available on the cPanel website.
The current end of life cycles for supported operating systems can be found here:
- CloudLinux 6 — June 30, 2024
- CentOS 7, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, CloudLinux 7 — June 30, 2024
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS — April 30, 2025
- CloudLinux 8 — May 31, 2029
- Rocky Linux 8 — May 31, 2029
- AlmaLinux 8 — 2029
- AlmaLinux 9 and Rocky Linux 9 — May 31, 2032
