How long will cPanel support my operating system?
Answer
We will notify you of operating system EOL dates as they approach. We deliver notifications in cPanel & WHM through normal update procedures, and through product documentation that is available on the cPanel website.
The current end-of-life dates for supported operating systems can be found below:
- CentOS 7, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, CloudLinux 6 and CloudLinux 7 — July 31, 2024
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS — April 30, 2025
- Ubuntu 22.04 LTS — June 30, 2027
- AlmaLinux 8 — March 1, 2029
- Rocky Linux 8 and CloudLinux 8 — May 31, 2029
- AlmaLinux 9, Rocky Linux 9, and CloudLinux 9 — May 31, 2032
