Introduction
"Exim Configuration Manager" contains settings to limit the maximum number of recipients an inbound email may contain. By default, the option to limit the number of recipients for inbound mail is disabled on cPanel servers. This article provides the procedure to set those limits.
Please note that these settings do not limit the number of email addresses that can be included in an email sent from any accounts on your cPanel server.
Procedure
- Log into WHM as the 'root' user.
- Navigate to "Home / Service Configuration / Exim Configuration Manager."
- On the "Basic Editor" tab, click the "ACL Options" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Maximum message recipients (soft limit)" option.
- Select the text box.
- Enter a value between 1 and 100, inclusive.
- Repeat the previous two steps for the "Maximum message recipients before disconnect (hard limit)" option.
- Click the "Save" button.
