Using the transfer tool you receive a SQLITE_ERROR on db.sqlite

Symptoms

When transferring accounts with the transfer tool, you encounter an SQLITE_ERROR regarding the db.sqlite file. 

Description 

When transferring accounts and packages, you encounter the error:

SQLITE_ERROR (unrrecognized token: "/var/cpanel/package/package_name:FEATURELIST=default

 /var/cpanel/package/package_name:FEATURELIST=default

/var/cpanel/package/package_name:") 

When this happens, it's usually due to the formatting of the file.

Workaround

Run "file" against the package and verify this is an "ASCII text" file. If it reports "data", you will want to move this file to another folder such as root or home and then try your transfer again.
