How to start a ClamAV scan from cPanel

Introduction

This article discusses how to start a ClamAV scan.

Procedure

A ClamAV scan must be started from the cPanel account interface:

1. Navigate to "Home / Advanced / Virus Scanner."
2. Select if you want to scan the Home Directory, Mail, FTP, or Web Space.
3. Start the scan by pressing "Scan Now."
