During /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf you may see errors related to mod_negotiation such as the following:
Initial configuration generation failed with the following message:
The “/usr/sbin/httpd -DSSL -t -f /etc/apache2/conf/httpd.conf.work.aa101011.cfgcheck -C Include "/etc/apache2/conf.modules.d/*.conf"” command (process 22331) reported error number 1 when it ended.
httpd: Syntax error in -C/-c directive: Syntax error on line 2 of /etc/apache2/conf.modules.d/275_mod_negotiation.conf: Cannot load modules/mod_negotiation.so into server: /etc/apache2/modules/mod_negotiation.so: undefined symbol: ap_parse_strict_length
This is usually caused by improper installation or updates related to the ea-apache24 package.
The easiest and most common workaround would be to reinstall ea-apache24 with the following command:
yum reinstall ea-apache24
Once done, you can verify that a rebuild is going through, and restart apache, with the following two commands:
