Why does the listaccts API call show that my accounts do not have backups even though they do?
Answer
For the listaccts API call to detect a backup for an account, the metadata must be present.
If you see that the listaccts API call is not accurate, ensure that metadata creation has not been disabled for your backups. Our documentation explains what options may be responsible for disabling metadata creation:

Once you have determined why the metadata has been disabled, you may regenerate the metadata with the following command:
/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/backups_create_metadata
