How to use the cPanel plugin file generator

Introduction

This interface will allow you to generate the needed files that a cPanel plugin uses when utilizing Paper Lantern.

Procedure

First, you need to generate the appropriate files to install the plugin.

To do so, you must log in to the WHM as the root user and navigate to:

WHM >> Developmet >> cPanel Plugin File Generator

Fill out the required information in order to proceed. For a detailed overview of the steps please refer to the following document.

Once this is complete the system will save a .tar.gz file in the following path:

/var/cpanel/cpanel_plugin_generator/

This file can then be used to install the plugin using the following script:

/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_plugin
