Symptoms

You may see the following error while trying to transfer accounts between cPanel servers.

Update the remote server, or fix its SSH

Description 

This can occur if there is an SSH access issue from the destination server to the source server.

Workaround

Check for and remove impediments to SSH access from the destination server to the source server. These could include:

• Host Access Control rules
• Firewall blocks
• SSHD configuration options including:
  • passwordauthentication
  • permitrootlogin
  • allowusers
  • denyusers
