Usernames must be unique

Symptoms

Unable to create and or transfer a cPanel user account.

Description

cPanel / WHM requires each username to be unique to create and or restore an account on the server.

Workaround

Each username’s first eight characters must be unique; failing this requirement will cause the creation and restoration of accounts to fail.
