How to disable monitoring for a service in WHM

Introduction

Sometimes, you may need to prevent cPanel from automatically restarting a down service. This article provides the procedure for disabling the monitoring for a service to prevent cPanel from restarting it.

Procedure

1. Log in to WHM as the ‘root’ user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Service Configuration / Service Manager.
3. Scroll down to the desired service.
4. Remove the check from the service's "Monitor" column.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
6. Click the "Save" button.
