Who manages the PTR records for my IP addresses?
PTR records are managed by the company that provides you with your IP address.
It is possible for that company to delegate the management of the PTR record to other entities, although this is relatively rare. You may ask that company if the management has been delegated if you are unsure.
If you're having problems with your PTR record, you must reach out to the company that provides your IP address to inquire about the issue.
If you are unsure what company to contact, review your bills and determine what company you pay for your network / hosting / server access. You can also get a hint by performing a whois lookup on the IP address.
