PHP.INI changes not reflected when using LiteSpeed

I've just changed PHP settings using WHM's MultiPHP INI Editor, however, LiteSpeed isn't reflecting the changes. How do I ensure my edits are active?

Description 

LiteSpeed uses a detached PHP process, which sometimes is not restarted when changes are made to the configuration.

Workaround

You can force a restart of the Detached PHP Processes from within the LiteSpeed plugin for WHM.

Log into WHM as root, then, from the sidebar, find the LiteSpeed Web Server plugin.

On the plugin page, select the option to Restart Detached PHP Processes and follow through the steps on screen to complete the process.
