Symptoms
Navigating to a DokuWiki software installed website displays the below errors with ACL enabled:
User authentication is temporarily unavailable. If this situation persists,
please inform your Wiki Admin.
No ACL setup yet! Denying access to everyone.
Description
DokuWiki ACL options control which users are allowed to log in. This error can be commonly seen if an auth file is missing.
acl.auth.php ( Required file for ACL )
users.auth.php ( Required file for ACL )
Workaround
Restore the site from backups or re-create the missing file with required users. Both files are required for the ACL to be usable.
