CloudLinux Manager reports to reboot for kernel while using an CloudLinux Kernel

Symptoms

After rebooting into the most recent CloudLinux kernel, you see the following message in "CloudLinux Manager."

Reboot your system to update the kernel.
If this message is displayed after reboot, please contact support.

Description

This issue frequently occurs when the kmod-lve package is missing or corrupt.

Workaround

1. Access the server's command line as the 'root' user via SSH or "Terminal" in WHM.
2. Install/reinstall the kmod-lve package.
   • Install the missing package.

     dnf install kmod-lve -y

   • Reinstall the corrupt package.

     dnf reinstall kmod-lve -y
