Http to Https - Prodblems - UNIQUE
Hello
i am facing an unique problem
i have 70 domains on my cPanel server, easyapache4 with xvarnish around 20 of them have STRICT http to https redirection
we are using Let's Encrypt SSL
but the remaining dont have STRICT redirect for some reason,
same server same configuration, i have tried wordpress, html, php all kinds of website but the issue is the same.
50 domains have this issue
DOMAINNAME -> http://DOMAINNAME - but no strict redirection to HTTPS
http://DOMAINNAME -> http://DOMAINNAME - but no strict redirection to HTTPS
https://DOMAINNAME -> https://DOMAINNAME - HTTPS is fully secure no issues
for 20 domains it is working perfect
DOMAINNAME OR https://DOMAINNAME OR http://DOMAINNAME -> https://DOMAINNAME - all of them get redirected to HTTPS no matter what PERFECT
if it was not working for all i can understand but it is working fine for some, this includes domain and subdomains as well, also different TLDS not the same
can anyone help me with this
Regards
Andy

Hello, Can you verify how you have configured the forced SSL redirection? Also, are you able to confirm the issue persists when you temporarily disable the custom Varnish configuration (it's unsupported) and use Apache only? Thank you. 0 -

Hello, For instance, this is not a default configuration. What steps did you take to enable HTTP to HTTPS redirection? Did you make custom rules in the .htaccess files? Thank you.0 -

Hi no .htaccess Rules, just used AutoSSL to install Lets Encrypt for all the domains and sub-domains 20 of them are working great but remaining are having issues like i mentioned before, do i need to configure something else, since 20 of them were working fine i did not try anything else0 -
Hello, To clarify, is the issue that some domain names do not have valid SSL certificates installed? If so, you can browse to the "Logs" tab in "WHM >> Manage AutoSSL" and view the most recent log file for an affected account to see why AutoSSL was unable to install the certificate. Thank you. 0
