Different Shared IP From That Of Main Host IP
In a multi-server environment, you may want to shuttles IPs and accounts between, servers without disrupting customers website operations.
With Plesk, you can just select a particular IP you want to use sharing when provisioning the server.
What would be the cleanest method of obtaining the same result in WHM?
Thanks

Hello, Could you provide some more information about the setup you'd like? For instance, is this for the purpose of high-availability, or are you simply attempting to setup multiple shared IP addresses on the cPanel server? Thank you. 0 -
Happy New Year, Michael and thanks for taking an interest. One essential thing that I seek to achieve with this is blacklisting. Most of the 3rd party tools that one can use (SendGrid, Mailgun, Mailjet, Mailchannel, etc) requires manual configuration for each domain both on cPanel and in the dashboard of the service one wishes to use. This is too laborious. So I thought that by assigning a different shared IP to shared hosting accounts, one can limit the damages that malicious users often cause. Now, I haven't thought this through. It may be that this won't even solve the issue. But it is an idea that I'm playing with but any better idea (there must be a better way to deal with this), will be welcomed. Thanks! 0 -
Hello, There is no native support for multiple shared IP addresses at this time, but feel free to vote and add your feedback to the feature request at: How to Configure the Exim Outgoing IP Address - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0
