[CPANEL-16829] Transfer Tool with shared remote MySQL server
I was getting a cluster configured with two web nodes and a dedicated MySQL server.
When I selected the Databases option when transferring the account, this is what appears in the logs:
Because both servers use the same server for MySQL, there's no need to transfer the databases. Interestingly enough, even though the grants are restored, I'm still unable to view the database in the cPanel account on the new server. cPanel developers have determined that this is in fact a bug with the Transfer Tool. The case ID is CPANEL-16829 and should keep an eye on cPanel change log for the update: 68 Change Log - Change Logs - cPanel Documentation Hope to have an update soon!

Thank you, When fix this case? We are waiting for a few months. Please ....0 -
Hello @Novin, The case is tentatively scheduled for inclusion with cPanel & WHM version 72. I'll update this thread again once it's published. In the meantime, the temporary workaround is to manually backup the account on the source server, move the backup archive to the destination server, and then restore the backup archive on the destination server. We document how to backup and restore accounts from the command line at: The restorepkg Script - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you. 0 -

(because new clsuter in other datacenter). how can we use transfer tool. may we can disable the check.
