Finding all emails for a given user (dovecot - pop3)

Hello, Our whm server is configured to use dovecot(pop3), and I'm looking to retrieve the all of the emails between one of our users and an external party. In the file dovecot.index.cache I can find several conversations between these 2 people, but the contents in encoded. How can I make this human readable? I read about this tool, but I can't get it to work "Doveadm-Dump". Is there a better location to find all the emails for a given users that is in a readable format? incoming and outgoing. Thanks.

  Ok, that didn't work. I certainly need to decode the dovecot.index.cache file, the conversations are there. Any clue on how to do that?

  Actually it looks like index files only contain certain information, I don't know if the actually contain the body of the email. Am I out of luck?

  CMM is basically only looking inside /cur, the emails I'm looking for are not there. The file that has the content that I need to see is dovecot.index.cache. but it's encoded/unreadable. The tool doveadm dump only decodes the index file but not index.cache...

  If the mail is still on the account, you should be able to see it. I don't know of a way to read that cache file.

  I think the emails are just not there anymore. I can't decode that file either, very little info online about it. Thanks anyway.
