Hello, Internal case CPANEL-15631 is open to report the issue where the "Invitees" option is not displayed when editing an event from a CalDAV calendar in the iCal app in iOS. I'll monitor this case and update this thread with more information as it becomes available. Thank you. Update: CPANEL-15631 was closed, as it relates to a bug with the Horde software as opposed to an issue with cPanel & WHM itself. 0 -
@cPanelMichael, Are there any updates in regards to CPANEL-15631? Thank you. 0 -
Hello, Can you check to see if the solution referenced on the following URL is helpful? Why can't I add invitees on my calendar on my i... | Official Apple Support Communities Thank you. 0 -
Hi Michael, Thanks for the reply. We've already seen the link you've provided. Unfortunately some of the users in the apple support thread are describing iCloud calendars - not CalDAV. Digging further we've found invites is currently unsupported by the cPanel bundled Horde/SabreDAV CalDAV server, as the version is too old. SabreDAV have supported scheduling (rfc6638) which iOS uses for invites since version 2.1.0 - released December 2016 CalDAV Scheduling - sabre/dav It appears the current version of SabreDAV included with cPanel is 1.8.7 (1.8 was EOL May 2015 by SabreDAV) We've added our voice to the request to upgrade Horde Groupware: Upgrade Horde Groupware to the latest stable version (currently 5.2.22) However as far as I can see no cPanel staff have responded in 6 months. Is there any chance you could nudge this internally to someone to at least acknowledge? We would love to see cPanel embrace the newer versions of open source software available, especially with the security fixes and extra features included, rather than rocking 3-4 year old versions! Thanks. 0 -
Hello, As I understand, the latest version of Horde does not include a bundled update of SabreDAV: [horde] SabreDAV upgrade Here's the quote from that message: [QUOTE] We already have upgrade to 2.1 but we cannot release it, because it has such deep changes that we cannot keep backward compatibility. Thus we can only release it with Horde 6.
Thus, I don't believe the Horde update in the feature request you noted would solve this issue. That said, I've now voted for the request. Additionally, here are a couple of other feature requests that may interest you: ActiveSync with Horde 5.x ActiveSync / Z-push integration Thank you.0
