Apache graceful restart

I have an issue with integration between WHMCS and cPanel, which means that WHMCS never picks up on it when I terminate a cPanel account via WHMCS. However, account termination works like a charm on the cPanel server. It has been suggested to me by WHMCS support, that this could be because Apache is doing a hard restart when an account is deleted/modified, and that the issue would disappear if these actions merely triggered a graceful restart of Apache. Where would I control something like that?

  Hi, You will have to check the Apache logs at the time the account is terminated from the WHMCS. For this, you will have first have to login to the server, and execute the below command: # tail -f /usr/local/apache/logs/error_logs After you execute the above command, you then have to execute the termination via WHMC and see if you see any error logs occurring that is causing this.

  Thank you for the reply, but I was more looking to find out if there is even an option in WHM to control if Apache does a hard reset or graceful reset when accounts are created/modified/deleted.

  Are all of your other WHMCS/cPanel functions working properly on the server (adding an account, suspending, changing passwords, reading bandwidth usage, etc)?

  Hello, There's no setting to change in cPanel & WHM. However, feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look. If WHMCS has determined this is an issue with cPanel, we'd like to take a closer look to determine why. Thank you.
