Litespeed not restarting automatically after update
[COLOR=rgb(20, 20, 20)]Had alerts from one of my servers shortly after the auto update to 68.0.27 that all the sites were down, and had to manually restart Litespeed. Saw another of my servers still had to update to run, so ran it manually, and that also killed off Litespeed, and didn't restart it automatically.
Last few lines of the error log prior to it going down
Running 5.2.3 (build 10) Not sure if this is a bug with Litespeed or cPanel, so reporting in both places.

Just happened again on the update to 68.0.28 Will open a ticket tomorrow. 0 -
Downgraded Litespeed to 5.2.2 on one of my other servers, and the update runs fine, so it's something specific to the 5.2.3 release of Litespeed. 0 -
Hello, It's also possible this relates to internal case CPANEL-17746 where LiteSpeed is killed (during the update process or when making changes via "WHM >> Tweak Settings) and left offline until it's restarted by Chkservd. It's fixed in cPanel version 70 (tentatively scheduled for publication to the Current build tier this week): Fixed case CPANEL-17746: Send litespeed USR2 and TERM to ensure clean shutdown on forced_restart Thank you. Update: The resolution is now published to cPanel version 68.0.29 as well. 0 -
Thanks Michael. 0
