Could not create file in cPanel permission denied

Hello! I really need your urgency help. I am in a big trouble, I can't be able to write the files in public_html folder. When I try it, it say: ERROR: Could not create file "test.php" in /home/myusername1/public_html: Permission denied. I don't know what is going on, so I have tried this on putty: chmod 755 /home/myusername1/public_html I still get the same error. I have tried to restart the cpanel but still get nothing. It still wont let me to write the files in public_html folder, but I can still write in /home/myusername1/ folder. I dont know what to do, so can you please help me with how i can enable the permission to allow me to write the files in public_html folder?? Thanks in advance!
