Upgrading to MySQL 5.7

Hello, MySQL 5.7 was added to edge build on 12-18-17 to cpanel version 70. MySQL 5.6 is end-of-life on 2-28-18 according to cpanel. When should we expect version 70 to be pushed out with MySQL 5.7? I'd like to upgrade directly from mysql 5.6 to 5.7 before 5.6 is end-of-life. Not a fan of MariaDB and would prefer not to have to upgrade to it. I also don't want to have to push an edge build to our servers to get MySQL 5.7 support. Please, update us. Thank you.
