Hello, This relates to the following SpamAssassin bug: 7540 " r1822466 fails lint check (FORGED_GMAIL_RCVD) Once it's published, the SpamAssassin resolution for the above bug should take affect through the /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/sa-update script that runs automatically. In the meantime, you can use the following commands as a temporary workaround: mkdir /root/saupdate cd /root/saupdate/ wget http://sa-update.bitwell.fi/1822256.tar.gz{,.sha1,.asc} /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/sa-update -v --install /root/saupdate/1822256.tar.gz /scripts/restartsrv_spamd

Thank you for the fix! spamd is now showing as "up" in my WHM's service status page. Should I known this earlier, I would've registered on the forum sooner instead of spending countless hours troubleshooting. Btw, what do you think of my configuration? spamd (spamd-dormant: waiting for connections [5,6] --max-children=5 --max-conn-per-child=200 --max-spare=1 --pidfile=/var/run/spamd.pid --timeout-child=300 --timeout-tcp=30 --allowed-ips=127.0.0.1,::1 --listen=5,6) is running as root with PID 18726 (systemd+/proc check method). Hello, I see no issues with your SpamAssassin configuration as long as it's working well with your server's resource usage. Thank you. 0 -
Hello, spamd has failed on my other cpanel-dnsonly boxes today. rpm -qa | grep -i spam cpanel-perl-524-Mail-SpamAssassin-3.004001-8.cp1162.x86_64
I tried applying the same commands but unable to get it to work maybe because it's 62 not 70./scripts/restartsrv_spamd Waiting for "spamd" to start ""warn [restartsrv_spamd] The 'spamd' service's PID file '/var/run/spamd.pid' did not appear after 10 seconds. Can you give me the correct download link?0 -
Hello @rangka_kacang, Do you notice any error messages when running the "/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/sa-update" command on that server? Thank you. 0
