Move mail service to another host?

Hi. I have a dedicated with ip 1.1.1.1 server1.com, in it, I have a mydomain.com account with their respective dns ns1.server1.com/ns2 and with the emails running, but I have your web in my other dedicated 2.2.2.2 server2 .com. How do I point only the mydomain.com web service to this server with ip 2.2.2.2. When I edit the A record to 2.2.2.2 inside mydomain.com in "Edit DNS Zone" on server1.com, my mail service stops working. I look forward to your help on how to configure this. Thank you very much!

  Hi, You will need to create MX record separately for this, so you will require two separate records, separate A record for the website and separate A record for the mail..

  Hello, You'd need to create a separate A record in the DNS zone (e.g. mx.domain.tld) that resolves to mail server IP address and then point the MX record to "mx.domain.tld". Thank you.
