    Hello, As you mentioned this is likely occurring due to the Google instance resetting the hostname upon reboot. You would need to ensure that the hostname is persistent. I was able to locate the following Stack Overflow article which may provide some more information on how you could accomplish this: Google Compute Engine: how to set hostname permanently? Additionally I would recommend reaching out to Google as they should be able to provide more information on how to retain the set hostname for their environment to work with cPanel.
