Hello, Proxy subdomains are configured on a per-domain basis. Thus, generally the better approach is to have customers access cPanel and WHM using their own domain name (e.g. cpanel.theirdomain.tld, whm.theirdomain.tld). If you'd like to provide them with a separate link to access cPanel/WHM, you could provide them with the "host2.domain.tld/cpanel" and "host2.domain.tld/whm" URLS. Thank you.

Hi, Michael. Thanks for your prompt response. Reading what you tell me, I see that I was confused, because when registering a new account/domain for a client, this automatically adds a 'cpanel' record and a 'whm' record for the zone that has just been created. So I could access WHM by writing 'whm' with the domain of any client and also each client can access their cPanel by typing cpanel.theirdomain.tld. Kind regards,

    Hello, Yes, that's correct. Thanks!

    Hi, Michael.
Hello, Yes, that's correct. However, note the "whm" proxy subdomain is only created automatically for accounts with reseller privileges.

Thanks for this observation. When I created a new test account, I do not remember having specifically indicated reseller privileges. Could this privilege be enabled by default? Kind regards,

Hello, Actually, you are correct. To clarify, the "whm" proxy subdomain is automatically created upon account creation. I've modified my previous post to reflect that information. Thank you.
