IP Blocker error

I have inherited running a website for a school sports team and I am trying to remove a range that is blocked by IP blocker on Cpanel. But I keep getting an error message as follows. Failed to remove the IP restriction on "174." because of the following error: DenyIp::deldenyip(174.) failed: Error: invalid argument, requires IP Anyone that can help me with this?

  Hello, Try manually removing the rule from the .htaccess file located in the document root of the website (e.g. /home/$username/public_html"). You can use File Manager to do this (ensure to display hidden files): File Manager - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you.
