SquirrelMail blocking outgoing emails.
As the title says, on one of my old server RoundCube/Horde, desktop based email clients all working fine. No issues in sending out or receiving emails.
But, since last week, when trying to send email using SquirrelMail from any account/domain, it just says:
[QUOTE]
ERROR
Message not sent.
Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable
Server replied: 550 This message was classified as SPAM and may not be delivered
No entry goes to /var/log/exim_mainlog, just plain simple reject. Any idea what could be wrong?

Hello, It looks like SpamAssassin is detecting the message you are attempting to send as SPAM and thus preventing the delivery attempt. This likely stems from the use of one of the two "Scan outgoing messages for spam and reject based" options under the "Apache SpamAssassin Options" tab in "WHM >> Exim Configuration Manager >> Basic Editor". Is the issue isolated to a single domain name, and if so, which TLD (e.g. com, net, org) is utilized by that domain name? Also, which version of cPanel is installed on this server? Is there any output to /var/log/maillog when this happens? Thank you. 0 -

CENTOS 6.9 standard v70.0.12 No output to /var/log/maillog when this happens. No email get rejected when RoundCube/Horde/Outlook/ThunderBird or android/ios app is used. Happening on all accounts, irrespective of domain or TLD. It's just SquirrelMail that is affected.0 -
Hello, Can you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look at this? Thank you. 0 -
It's gone with update to v70.0.16 0 -
Hello, I'm happy to see the issue is now solved. It's possible the issue was related to the following case that was fixed in version 70.0.16, where custom SpamAssassin rules were not utilized upon updates to cPanel version 70: Fixed case CPANEL-18557: Restore SpamAssassin customizations on upgrade to 70. Thank you. 0
