Purchase and install SSL on Proxy subdomain?

Hrllo; Can I buy and install a certificate SSL for cpanel.mydomain.com or it'is impossible for the sub domain cpanel.

  Just order an Extended Validation certificate and cover *.mydomain.com

  Hello, Have you considered using the AutoSSL feature instead? It will automatically install a free signed SSL certificate for your domain names (this includes the proxy subdomains): Manage AutoSSL - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation If you don't have root access, check with your reseller hosting provider to see if they offer AutoSSL.
