cPanel DNSonly SSL No Records Found error

Hi All Trying to update / renew the SSL on two WHM/CPanel DNS Only servers. Using WHM->Manage Service SSL Certificates panel and it shows "No Records Found" Selecting Browse Certificates shows the expired Certificate in the list (and some self-issued / self-signed certs as well) Copy / Paste the new certificate & key text into the fields shows green ticks and the new expiry date in 2020. Select the services to apply and click Install. The Installer script runs and the panel says 'Restart cpsrvd': option 1: select okay to restart cpsrvd and the page returns with No Records Found. Browse the certificates and it shows the older expired SSL in the list. option 2: select cancel and not restart cpsrvd and the page displays the freshly renewed certificate "You have successfully installed..... etc" with 'Close' and countdown to autoclose. Which it does and auto-refresh to display "No Records Found" I then tried installing / applying the self-signed certificate that existed on the server and it results in the same as above. "No Records Found" Following that I tried once more to install the SSL and the page still reports "No Records Found" and the "Browse Certificates" button pops up a list that displays the expired certificate and the self-signed certificates but not the new certificate. But, the new certificate is apparently installed as the browser is now confirming the new expiry date and a green padlock. I used both Chrome and Firefox browsers during the above with no differences observed. It appears to be a WHM DNS Only server issue that is not responding correctly. So my question is, bug or user error ? Not sure what else I should have done. Its working, but I'd prefer to see the correct details displayed in the WHM web page. Tony

    Hi, Which version of cPanel DNSOnly are you using? If you don't mind sharing, which CA issued the certificate? Also, what type (DV, OV, etc) of certificate were you installing?

    I am having the same issue with a cPanel DNS-only server. In my case, I am only using a self-signed certificate, but the existing certificate does not show up in the list as being "installed" and there is no option to regenerate it. I can, like you, find it in the list under Browse Certificates.

    I too am having this exact issue as well... on a new DNS ONLY server i deployed yesterday... on CentOS 7.4...

    Hello, Internal case CPANEL-18561 is open to address the issue where SSL certificates installed via "WHM Home " Service Configuration " Manage Service SSL Certificates" on servers using DNS-Only do not appear in the user interface after the certificate installation succeeds. Note this issue only affects the visibility of the certificate in "WHM >> Manage Service SSL Certificates", as the certificate itself is installed successfully. I'll monitor this case and update this thread with more information as it becomes available. Thank you.
