EXIM fails after graceful reboot
Following a graceful reboot, EXIM failed to start:
systemd[1]: PID file /var/spool/exim/exim-daemon.pid not readable (yet?) after start.
systemd[1]: exim.service start operation timed out. Terminating.
A few minutes later it restarted....
Any ideas?

Hello, Is this happening every time you reboot the server, or was this a one-time occurrence? It's possible the server load was high when your server booted and thus Exim failed to start on the initial attempt. It would have then restarted successfully upon Chkservd detecting it as down. Thank you. 0 -
I'll test this.... 0 -
Just to close the loop - this looked like a one time occurrence. Thanks again, /ljj 0
