Password request constantly

Community, lately my clients have reported me that their email applications like Outlook and Thunderbird, ask for a password constantly. What could be happening?. The password is correct, since they enter normally by webmail. Thanks.

  Hello, Can you verify what appears in /var/log/maillog at the time authentication fails? Is cPHulk enabled on this server? Thank you.

  Dear, I can not review that record right at that moment since the client did not notify me at the exact moment when that happens. And if the Hulk is enabled, will that be it?

  Hello, You can check the "History Reports" tab in "WHM >> cPHulk Brute Force Protection" to search for failed logins or blocks imposed by cPHulk for that specific email account. Thank you.
