EXIM and Office 365 Email

Hello, We have one LAMP server with WHM and Cpanel. Emails are run on EXIM. Nameservers do not use the website domain name. Now, I need to transfer just 1 (one) of those emails to Office 365 so it will run on Exchange there. I guess that I should I purchase another domain that will serve only to this Office 365 email and point the domain at registrar to Office 365? Does this new domain be added to CPanel? Any advice is welcome.

  Hello, You could keep using the name servers associated with the cPanel & WHM server for the new domain name, and then simply update it's MX records to point to the remote mail server:
