cPanel/Reseller Account Custom Backup Locations

Is there any intention for cPanel and Reseller accounts to have the ability to set backup locations themselves e.g. Google Drive, WebDav etc? This feature is supported at root level only. Currently cPanel accounts can only be backed up to Homedir, FTP, or SCP.
