exim: no message ids given after -Mrm option
I get the following email every day or so.
subject
Cron /usr/sbin/exiqgrep -o 16800 -i | /usr/bin/xargs /usr/sbin/exim -Mrm
content
exim: no message ids given after -Mrm option
I'm unclear where this is coming from and why. I've checked from on my host but don't see anything related.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Do you see any entries for that cron job in the files under the /etc/cron.d/ or /etc/cron.daily/ directories? Thank you. 0 -
Checked all the files, it is not in any of them I searched by "exiqgrep" since I figured that would narrow it. It wasn't found in any of the files. Any other thoughts? 0 -
Hello, You could also check to see if it exists in any of the cron files stored under the /var/spool/cron/ directory. EX: grep exiqgrep /var/spool/cron/*
Thank you.0 -
grep exiqgrep is exactly what I was doing I didn't know to look in /var/spool/cron/ Found in /var/spool/cron/root Now to figure out what to do about it. Thank you for helping find where it was. The only reason I came to the forums was I found nothing at all in many searches regarding it. If you have any additional thoughts I'm happy to hear it ;) 0 -
Hello, You can directly edit the /var/spool/cron/root file to remove that line. It's not an entry that's setup by default with cPanel & WHM, so it was likely added as part of a third-party plugin or by someone with administrator access to your system. Thank you. 0 -
I'm the only person with access. Possibly related to ASSP or CSF? They were the only others ever having access besides cPanel support. Do you think I should open a ticket and have cPanel review it? Thanks for your feedback 0 -
Possibly related to ASSP or CSF?
Yes, I believe this cron job is added as part of the ASSP plugin. You may want to check with their support to verify if it's still required. Thank you.0
