AutoSSL expired and didnt renew
Hi there,
I"m a webmaster (I guess) in that I have a couple of sites hosted with s service provider. I have access to cPanel only (no WHM). My autoSSL certs expired on 19/3 and haven"t renewed. My hosting providers don"t/won"t support autoSSL. Wondering if there"s any guidance on how I can expedite CERT renewal?
Thanks!

Hello @Mihanley, You will likely have some trouble solving this issue without the assistance of your hosting provider. You may want to consider switching to a different provider if your current provider is unwilling to help determine what's happening with the SSL certificate. As far as troubleshooting steps available to you without root access, the first place to check is the SSL TLS Status option in cPanel: SSL TLS Status - Version 70 Documentation - cPanel Documentation Check for any specific output when using the "Run AutoSSL" button for your domain name. Thank you. 0 -
Thanks @cPanelMichael - appreciate the guidance 0 -
Word to the wise: those of you who are webmasters with no access to WHM, you may find your host has disabled and hidden the Run AutoSSL function in your cPanel. This happened to me - they were trying to upsell their SSL Cert provisioning offering. After a short but intense struggle with them, they renabled it on their side, and I was able to execute the command: within minutes my certs were reactivated. 0
