Avoid unsuspend of email account
Hello i have a customer which has an email user that is sending spam (with an infected computer i presume), what i do is suspend the account from the cpanel email admin, but the same user later has its email account unsuspended and sending spam again.
Is there a way to force the suspension as root?
I believe they just access cpanel with their user and unsuspend the email account. I have warned the user to stop this action, or i will suspend the entire account (something i dont want to use unless as a last resort), but they claim they dont do that.
Thats why i wanted to ask if there is some sort of work around for this to force the suspension.
Regards

Hello, You'd need to suspend outgoing email for the entire cPanel account if you want to prevent them from unsuspending it via cPanel. We document how to do this at: WHM API 1 Functions - suspend_outgoing_email - Developer Documentation - cPanel Documentation EX: whmapi1 suspend_outgoing_email user=user123

Hello madpato, I'm looking into a small feature that would help you here, so that you don't need to suspend sending email on the entire cPanel account. I have 2 questions for you. As root, you want to prevent your customers from unsuspending their email account. More specifically: * Are you wanting to suspend the ability to send email, or suspend the ability to even log into the email account? * Are you using UAPI to do the suspension or are you going into the cPanel interface? 0
