Local DNS zones requiered when nameserver is not local

Hi, I have a hosting server with CPANEL, some user just point the Record A to my WHM for provide Web Server Hosting, but there are a DNS Zone create for each account on my server, some DNS are manage locally because this server is a cluster for the MX, But my question is, the DNS zone on my server to pointing to my nameserver is requiered or I can deleted? Thanks

  Hello, The existence of the DNS zones allows for the generation of entries for records that relate to features such as SPF or DKIM. While the entries in the zone file are not actually used for DNS purposes, they can help show you which entries you need to to manually add to the remote DNS server utilized by the domain name.   Hi Michael, Your answer is very helpful, Taking this in account, I can deleted at discretion the DNS zone if I don't handle account emails on my server, Thanks for your reply,

  You can, but note that certain features of cPanel & WHM may fail to load correctly (e.g. the Authentication option in cPanel). Additionally, options such as "WHM >> Transfer Tool" may not work correctly if the zone is missing. Thank you.
