    Hello, The existence of the DNS zones allows for the generation of entries for records that relate to features such as SPF or DKIM. While the entries in the zone file are not actually used for DNS purposes, they can help show you which entries you need to to manually add to the remote DNS server utilized by the domain name.     You can, but note that certain features of cPanel & WHM may fail to load correctly (e.g. the Authentication option in cPanel). Additionally, options such as "WHM >> Transfer Tool" may not work correctly if the zone is missing. Thank you.
