AutoSSL for A Record Subdomain

server1.domain.com has AutoSSL (Let's Encrypt) enabled, and an A record that points server2.domain.com to a different IP address (and server2 doesn't have WHM/cPanel). SSL/TLS is working fine for . Please help.

  Hello, AutoSSL will only validate a domain name if it resolves to the IP address associated with the corresponding cPanel account. The domain validation attempt will fail if the domain name resolves to a remote server IP address. Thank you.

  Thanks! For those who are having the same problem, I solved it by setting up Let's Encrypt on server2 without worrying about server1. I kept the A record as-is and everything works fine.
