After log time they showing up as running, so there is a time before check multiple time is service running or not. Do you know after which period of time they check again?

By default, the chkservd driver checks each service every five minutes to determine the service's status.

Hello, The status is updated once Chkservd detects the service as running. You can read more about how Chkservd works at: TailWatch - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you.

Hello guys I tried all things i found here in this thread and in many others and nothing works. The WHM service status display all services DOWN but its are running. I found this solution (but is a little bit old (2011 ;) how2forge.info/cpanel-service-status-showing-down-while-it-is-up-and-running/ [QUOTE] The problem was that "lo" was not active, I have activated it by running: # ifup lo After "lo" was activated I had to restart cPanel: # service cpanel restart All services were showing up after the restart, but imap was still shown as down. I quickly solved this by regenerating the "check script" for imap: # rm -rf /etc/chkserv.d/imap Then go to Service Manager via cPanel, enable imap (if it is not) and press Save.
I"m using WHM/cpanel last version, with centOs 7X and Cloudlinux 7.5 Is it safe to try? Thanks ;) Fabian

Hi Fabian, I don't recommend using those steps. If chkservd is not accurately detecting the status of a service, it's something we should investigate further. Can you open a
